Community Events are monthly events in a public location
around Northwest Arakansas and will be open to anyone.
Community Events will include Babywearing Meet Ups and Babywearing Walks.
Meet Ups will be informal, drop in events that may be at an indoor or outdoor location. During these events, carriers may be tried on and some carriers can be rented for a small fee. Fit checks can also be provided although due to time and personnel restraints, these will not be in depth as consultations.
Babywearing Walks will be walks that are mainly on paths and trails, providing opportunities to explore the nature that surrounds us here in Northwest Arkansas.
Community Events will be a great place to bring questions about babywearing and baby carriers, to try on carriers, and to connect with other caregivers who love babywearing.
These Community Events are FREE and come from the desire to make babywearing accessible to everyone as this practice should be part of every community. If you felt that these events have been helpful and are able to, please consider donating towards funding new carriers for the library. The carrier rental fees and event donations will be used to fund new and different carriers and to replace worn out carriers for the library.
